Clubs & Organizations

Everybody wants to belong to a good cause and rub shoulders with those who share common interests. Clubs and organizations are the perfect way for students to explore their interests in new ventures or to develop friendships with like-minded peers. Our enhanced curriculum includes taking exploratory elective classes and participating in co- and extracurricular activities.

  • Debate ClubMr. Tillett advises our debate team. This club gives students the opportunity to develop critical thinking, public speaking, and research skills while competing against other schools.
  • Esports – One of our newer clubs is Esports, advised by Mrs. Wallace. Esports brings together gaming enthusiasts to compete in organized video game competitions while developing teamwork and strategic thinking.
  • FCCLA (Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America) – Under Mrs. Small’s guidance, FCCLA helps students develop leadership skills through family and consumer sciences education, focusing on personal growth and career preparation.
  • FFA (Future Farmers of America) – Co-advised by Mrs. Christensen, Mr. Woolstenhulme, and Mr. Creer, FFA is one of our most active organizations, connecting students to agriculture education and leadership opportunities in our rural community.
  • GSA (Gender-Sexuality Alliance) – Mrs. Cook leads this inclusive club that provides a safe and supportive space for all students while promoting understanding and respect.
  • Interact Club – Affiliated with Rotary International, Ms. Regan advises the Interact Club, which focuses on community service and developing leadership skills through volunteer work.
  • Latino Wildcats – Under Mr. Vazquez’s leadership, this club celebrates Latino culture, provides support for Spanish-speaking students, and builds bridges between different communities at SSHS.
  • Mountain Biking – For outdoor enthusiasts, Coach David Scott leads this club that takes advantage of our beautiful surroundings for both recreational riding and competitive events.
  • Rodeo Club – A perfect fit for our rural Utah location, Crystal Williams leads the Rodeo Club. This club showcases traditional Western skills and heritage through competition.
  • Trap Shooting ClubMr. Creer advises this club that teaches firearm safety and marksmanship in a supervised, competitive environment.
